The Bricolage Art
"The Bricolage Art"
So has someone wondered what could be done when you have got an not-so-assorted pile of drivers junk either you discard them as useless and throw them away for good, or you create something totally new out of it. Designers all over the world are going crazy over the idea of 'upcycling' , and on a personal note, i believe that the challenge to any creative persons lies in how he\she creates magic with what ever that's available. All it takes is that extra effort, stretching that extra effort, stretching that extra bit of creativity and lots of craziness to explore all different ways to do things.
With this in mind, i designed this patch worked long summer skirt, with multiple printed pieces of fabrics that were left over from other garments. It was like working on a collage, this time the only difference is playing around with different prints ant textiles. I teamed up with a simple sleeveless hakoba yoke crop top, with matching pair of fuchsia earrings and bright green shoes.
The option that could be created are endless, and following are just some of the few experiments i have done with simple pieces of fabrics- from bangles, bow-clips, hairbands & bandanas....there are much more to be done, and i would like to wish my readers happy shopping....er nope happy creating!!!
